
Since early elementary school I did not think like the other kids. I was not as limited by conventional thinking. When asked what we wanted to be when we grow up everyone else had professional ideas based on their parents or relatives.

At that time I knew nothing of the broader meaning of the word. But as time goes on I have a higher respect for what it means: Innovation. Risk. Creativity. Solitude. Collaboration. Disruption.
